Managing a proposal for and with the participation of LGBTIQ citizens was one of the beginnings of the AfroAtenAs Project in the city of Matanzas, therefore, in a more organized and focused way, and from the struggles for Rights for All People. Visible from the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, the creation of this project is gestated based on the work of various social activists in the city during 2018.

Proposal that is presented methodologically in December 2019 and who outlined the objective in the 2019 – 2022 framework: Implement a comprehensive training program for the exercise of citizenship, which contributes to the empowerment of LGBTIQ + people and other groups in vulnerable situations of the city of Matanzas, from culture as a process of social transformation.
